EZ Local Listings- How to Dominate the Locals on Google, Yahoo and MSN

Video 1 - Getting on the Google Map

Getting your Business listed in the TOP 10 Listings can be difficult. BUT, If you apply this exact technique you will rise to the top. One of the strategies is to use Keywords in your BUSINESS NAME and also business DESCRIPTION. To date we have had a 100% success rate. This is the easiest and cheapest way to get FREE internet leads.

To find relevant keywords go to to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and type in what you do to get some keywords ideas. I would list the top keywords based on search volume and relevancy.

Then make sure you add 10 photos and also a video or 2. The more information your listings has the higher it will rank.

Ongoing Maintenance: This is Key! Have your clients write reviews each month. The more reviews you have the more data your listing will have and the higher you will rank. Reviews should be added on an ongoing basis. Don’t add a bunch of reviews one month and then quit. Google will notice this as possibly manipulating the system.

Social Networking: What It Is and How To Use It To Promote Your Business

June 5, 2009

You may have already heard of social networking. After all, social networking is part of the new revolution in Web 2.0. However, do you really know what it is? Do you know how it can help you promote your business and make more money?

Social networking can be defined as grouping individuals together into specific groups or communities, somewhat like a neighborhood. Although social networking can be done offline, as in a business setting, it is a popular way online to connect with other people, whether you’re promoting a business or not. There are tons of social networking sites online, many of these grouped by interests, and these sites aren’t limited to just business networking. Regardless of the reason for networking, it’s a great way to develop friendships with others, regardless of geographical location.

One of the main features of a social networking site, whether you choose a free or paid site, is the profile. The profile allows you to tell others about your interests, your business or work, and the type of people you would like to meet. The information you include on these sites can be quite detailed. This makes it easier to connect with others who have the same interests you do. Again, the ability to connect with others for friendship and common interest is an important part of these websites.

Another thing to consider here is general social networking sites versus topical social networking sites. Many of the most popular sites online, like My Space, and Facebook, are pretty general sites. You can meet people from just about anywhere in the world, as well as people with just about any interest you can imagine. These sites are good for connecting with others in just about any interest you may have. The fact that they get a lot of traffic is good because it gives you an opportunity to easily promote your interests. These sites usually offer open membership.

With topic specific social networking sites, these sites may offer open or closed membership. There may also be a fee involved for being a member, and you may even need an invitation to get into these sites.

The advantage to these types of sites, especially if you own your own business, is that the market for your products and services will be more targeted than if you’re marketing on general social networking sites. What’s key here is that regardless of which of these types of sites you choose to market on, that you go where your market is. Don’t waste your time making an appeal for your product or service in a group or forum on these sites that isn’t related to your product or service.

If you find the idea of connecting with others in your type of business appeals to you, then you should definitely consider marketing your business this way. It’s a very easy way to find new customers, as well as make new friends.

Just make sure you’re careful online. Not everyone you meet is who he/she claims to be, and as with any other form of networking, there are scammers out there.

You can find plenty of ways to network socially by doing a simple search in the search engines. Just type in “social networking”. You might also consider using the search term “social networking” plus your topic, like business, or interrnet marketing.

If you’re looking for an easy way to get new business, as well as make new friends, social networking is definitely the way to do it.

How To Write A Guerrilla Marketing Plan

June 5, 2009

Behind every successful product or service is a well-researched marketing plan. A marketing plan guides a company how to market a product or service to a specific target market and helps a company remain focused on its marketing objectives.

A Guerrilla Marketing Plan is a condensed version of a corporate marketing plan. It focuses primarily on the most powerful income producing strategies needed to generate sales. While a Corporate Marketing Plan may be 20+ pages long and full of detailed market research and competitive analysis, a Guerrilla Marketing Plan is short (3-5 pages) and focuses on the marketing strategies you will use to produce sales immediately.

A Guerrilla Marketing Plan should include the following strategic marketing information:

1. Define your product or service.

2. What major problem does your product or service solve?

3. Determine who most needs the product/service being sold. Who is your target market?

4. Describe the #1 most important benefit a customer will receive from your product/service.

5. Why should a customer buy from your company instead of from a competitor? What benefit will a customer receive from doing business with your company?

6. Determine your company’s position in the marketplace. Are you the company that focuses on extreme quality, low price, the largest inventory, the safest product, the best guarantee, etc.? What powerful slogan will you use in all of your marketing materials to convey your position?

7. What is your guarantee to your customers?

8. Determine a measurable sales goal for the next 12-months (i.e., $250k in sales).

9. Determine a marketing budget to achieve your 12-month goal. Your budget should be a minimum of 10% of your projected 12-month sales goal.

10. Determine the most powerful and cost effective marketing and PR strategies for marketing your product or service to your target market and achieving your 12-month sales goal.

The Strategic Internet Marketing Plan

June 5, 2009

The best laid plans are the ones that have been strategically constructed to obtain optimal results. Online marketing, although more affordable than any other form of marketing, can become an expensive and disappointing activity if you do not know how, or you try to skirt away from the work of constructing a strategic internet marketing plan.

Strategic internet marketing plans require extensive research to find the top internet resources that are available for you to use in order to support your marketing efforts in a way that produces the greatest results. Finding and buying some or even a lot of the various resources that are available to you is one thing, but if you do not spend time to educate yourself on how they work, you are basically throwing your money away. It makes no sense to throw your hard earned money away using poorly constructed plans because you did not give yourself the opportunity to become educated about online marketing resources beforehand.

The construction of the strategic marketing plan begins with extensive research and also spending time educating yourself about the internet resources that you find, but this is by no means the full extent to which you will need to go in order to construct a strategic plan that has the greatest potential for you to achieve optimal results. Search engine optimization, targeting, and timing are also important elements that are needed for the construction of the most well planned marketing strategy. Professional input may be needed as well.

Search engine optimization is an important part of the strategic internet marketing plan. The The same principles of search engine optimization apply to both online marketing and the construction of your website. When researching online for more information about SEO as it pertains to internet marketing, you will find a lot of information listed under the category of SEM or search engine marketing.

Targeted and well timed marketing are also vital elements to the construction of the strategic internet plan. Briefly, targeted marketing is the purposeful directing of internet marketing to locations identified to contain the highest numbers of ready to buy consumers. Research is once again needed here to identify those internet locations for the highest results.

Well timed online marketing is done in two ways. Seasonal timing when online consumer purchases are up, holidays and graduations are examples of times when online purchasing increases. Spacing individual marketing efforts far enough apart so that no one targeted area becomes overly saturated with too much of the same advertising is another way that this is all done.

Targeting a large quantity of locations that you have identified as the best places for website marketing, versus only targeting a few can go a long way towards helping you to not make the mistake of overly saturating a location where you may find the majority of your customers come from.

A strategic online marketing plan may include securing the services of a professional. You may wish to see how well your own plan works before spending money to get the expertise of a professional, but if your website marketing plan is not producing the results that you desire, it may indeed be money well spent to hire a professional.

A rush job is neither a strategic plan, nor is it one having the potential for you to obtain optimal results. Take the time to do it right and you will reap more benefits because of the time you gave to constructing a truly strategic internet marketing plan.
